Reached by road or air, the Lodge is located at the mouth of the very long English River system, whose waters flow into the Winnipeg River system. These two fast-running rivers combine to form 20 mile long Tetu Lake. The rocky shoreline, sandy beaches and shallow, weedy bays provide and excellent habitat for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass. The outdoor enthusiast will be inspired by some of the most intriguing scenery anywhere. Our group went back in June 2007, had a Great Time. The weather was awesome and the fishing was just as good. Every day we caught 30 to 50 Walleye each. The accomodations were excellant, and so was the food. We will diffently be back again.
While you're fishing you may delight in watching one of the many bald eagles soar over the boreal forest or catch a black bear taking a swim in the strong current. You may come across a huge beaver dam or glimpse some otters chasing each other in one the many streams. On a beautiful crisp fall day you may see a moose hiding in fantastic foliage or crossing one of the bays. Or just sit and relax and watch one of our spectacular sunsets. If you bring your camera along you may capture more than just a fish on film. There guest cabins are in a class of their own. There are one, two and four bedroom cabins available. All cabins have a lounge / sitting area with couches easy chairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with the four bedroom cabin equipped with two full baths plus a sink and vanity in each bedroom.
