Cormorant Lake is a DRIVE TO LAKE, 8 hours North of Winnipeg. This Lake is roughly 18 miles long, covering 400 square miles of water. BIG LAKE, BIG FISH. The cool waters are considered to be among the most productive in North America. Walleye average 2 to 4 pounds and plenty of them. Northern average 4 to 8 pounds with many trophies in the 15 to 20 pound class.
