Kathy's Lake is the headwaters source of the Assinka River System that flows into Meat Lake. The cabin is located on an island near the center of the lake. Kathy's Lake is an excellent Walleye Lake where catches average 22"-24". Trophy walleye and northern pike are also present. The lake is two miles wide and six miles long. Average depths are 10-15 feet with some deeper areas. Kathy's Lake has been limited fished since 1990. I was up there again in August the week of the 2nd through the 9th 2003. The largest Walleye caught was 4 lbs. The Biggest northern caught was 15 lbs. We had a GREAT fishing trip as we caught over 200 Walleye, and 20 plus 13 lb to 15 lb Northern. It just doesn't get any better then this.
