Kathy's Lake is the headwaters source of the Assinka River System that flows into Meat Lake. The cabin is located on an island near the center of the lake. Kathy's Lake is an excellent Walleye Lake where catches average 22"-24". Trophy walleye and northern pike are also present. The lake is two miles wide and six miles long. Average depths are 10-15 feet with some deeper areas. Kathy's Lake has been limited fished since 1990. When I was up there in June 2000, the largest Walleye caught was 5lbs. and the average walleye was 22"-24". Considering the bad weather we encountered, the fishing was GREAT. This is one lake that I will return to. So enough of the story telling check out the pictures below and see for yourself.
